We go back to Khao lake in Thailand.
I really love the climate even though it's a bit hot during the day, but it doesn't matter when you're at sea :) We live at The Leaf Oceanside village of Katathani. I liked the hotel a lot more than the last one. I have a little fondness for the small details and decorations I think characterize Thailand. Warm towels and tea at arrival in the lobby while the bags are carried in to our room. You feel a little like royalty. Of course, it was off to the small restaurant or the hole in the wall we found last time. I really like the food! I snowed in on the green curry again but my husband chose new every night, the favorite was food with fennel. When we have put everything in the room, we always go to the dive shop we booked with before the trip to check the pick-up time for the first day and that everything matches the booking. We liked IQ-dive last time and have chosen to dive with them again. We took the nitrox certificate with Ecodive in Stockholm before we went to Thailand, now it will be nitrox the whole diving holiday. The first day it was a long tail boat. So great to get into perfect warm water and go out to the boat. Now you are exited to take that first breath under the surface. When we got back to the beach, our pickup had gone a bit far down the beach, which resulted in the tires sinking into the sand and could not be dislodged. Something that strikes me is that you don't like to ask for help, and no other local person asks if they can help. We made an effort throughout the dive team to see if the car could be dislodged, but no! One of the guys we had been diving with turned out to know the boss, so he ended up calling him and the boss came with his car and pulled us up. While we were waiting we were hanging out in the water and had a really nice time and was quite happy with our moment at beach :) Since we have taken nitrox, we now also had the opportunity to dive on the Sea chart, which is located at 24-45 meters depth. An interesting ship that went to the bottom after a storm, loaded with teak logs worth a terrible amount of money. Since Thailand and Malaysia have not been able to agree on who has rights to the timber, it remains well-preserved at the bottom. A bit tougher dive as it was both deep and pretty current. However, we were lucky with the visibility. Amazing to see an intact ship with all the logs. Our biggest experience this trip was when we dived on Kho Bon and suddenly out of the haze came a huge angel liked Manta. Even if it was only a few seconds, it was amazing. Wish the manta had been in a playful mood and wanted to come and have a show for us. It is difficult to understand that a baby is 2 meters between the wing tips to grow up to 7 meters between the wing tips. Wonderful!!! Several dives from the big boat on Simili Ilands during the days, and we love every second. Nice crew, super nice food that is cooked on the boat, and very good diving guides. Although the boat time can be a bit long, you feel very bored after a while and try to take a nap. We dived at No 4, No 5 Anitas Reef, No 9 North point, No 9 Head rock, No 7. Of course, we managed to go to Boon sung one more time, who have become a favorite. Home after the last dive at sunset.. we thank you for this time <3
